Bluetooth Proximity-Tracking
What is bluetooth proximity-tracking?
Bluetooth proximity-tracking is a location-tracking method that relies on Bluetooth technology and can be accurate within 30 feet. It is considered less intrusive than alternatives that use absolute location, though it has limitations. For instance, “proximity” may not mean sharing the same space, and de-anonymization can be possible if permanent identifiers are used (vs. temporary broadcast IDs).
